Job summary

The position requires ARDMS RDMS (OB/GYN or Abdomen) or equivalent, with RVT or ARRT Sonography registrations within 12 months, and BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiology program with advanced Sonography certification.
• CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program with RDMS (AB or OB/GYN) credential.
• Must obtain ARDMS RVT or ARRT Sonography/ Vascular within 12 months of employment.
• Breast Center technologists must obtain ARDMS BR within 1 year of employment.
• BLS certification from the AHA or within probationary period.
• Ability to interact effectively with a wide range of backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes ultrasound equipment to perform a variety of diagnostic sonograms from neonates to adults.

Education

RDMS credential from ARDMS (OB/GYN or Abdomen)

CAAHEP-accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with RDMS credential (AB or OB/GYN)

ARDMS RVT or ARRT Sonography & Vascular Sonography registration within 12 months

ARDMS BR certification within 1 year (Breast Center)

BLS certification from the AHA
