Job summary

Jupiter Medical Center is seeking a skilled Sonographer to perform abdominal, gynecological, obstetrical, small parts, vascular, and cerebrovascular ultrasound examinations. You will communicate findings clearly to radiologists and apply color Doppler techniques as part of routine imaging.

The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, vascular experience, BLS, and strong computer and communication skills to support patient care and accurate diagnosis within a collaborative imaging team.

Qualifications

• Registered ARDMS (American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography) or Ultrasound with the ARRT(US) required.
• Vascular experience required, registry RVT, CCI, or ARRT-Vascular US required.
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association for Healthcare Providers.
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• The Sonographer manages and performs abdominal, gynecological, obstetrical, small parts, peripheral vascular and cerebrovascular ultrasound examinations.
• Demonstrates knowledge of anatomy and disease and communicates with the Radiologist.
• Trained in color Doppler and advanced imaging techniques.
• Capable of working independently to obtain necessary clinical information for diagnosis.
• Teamwork is essential within Imaging and secondary responsibilities may be assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
