This non-Exempt role requires an RDMS in OB/GYN, abdomen, and small parts, with competency in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound and CPR certification. Education includes a high school diploma or GED and graduation from an accredited ultrasound program or equivalent training, plus a minimum of one year of clinical experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic medical ultrasound program or formal training.
• Minimum one year of clinical sonography experience.
• Competency in high-risk obstetrical ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures per department protocols with diagnostic quality images.
• Maintains knowledge of physics, anatomy, terminology, sterile technique, and patient care.
• Maintains equipment knowledge and reports issues promptly.
• Performs obstetric, abdominal and small parts exams as trained.
• Completes radiologist worksheets with findings and participates in quality management.
• Supports day-to-day operations including scheduling, MIS, and film checkout.
• Provides courteous interactions with patients and providers; participates in on-call duties.
