Job summary

Gateway Community Health Center seeks a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform high-quality ultrasound exams across OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, and superficial structures. The role requires ARDMS/ARRT certification, a minimum of an A.A.S. in Diagnostic Medical Sonography, and current CPR-BLS certification.

Qualifications

• Requires A.A.S. in Diagnostic Medical Sonography and ARDMS/ARRT certification.
• Two years of relevant experience in OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, and superficial structures preferred.
• CPR-BLS certification required and must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic OB/GYN, abdomen, breast, and superficial structures sonographic exams per ARDMS guidelines.
• Label images with exam date, patient info, and orientation; document and summarize findings for physician review.
• Operate convex, linear, and endovaginal transducers as needed; maintain equipment and safety protocols.
• Communicate findings promptly to referring providers and coordinate with team to ensure quality patient care.
