Job summary

Carle Health is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform radiologic diagnostic procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient safety in a dynamic medical imaging department.

The role requires ARRT radiography certification and state licensure, with opportunities for sign-on and relocation bonuses. You will work under the direction of a Radiologist in a multi-hospital system and contribute to QA/QC programs while coordinating patient flow and equipment efficiency.

Qualifications

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures following approved guidelines and standards.
• Selects appropriate views and uses filters, collimation, markers, and patient IDs to optimize images.
• Maintains radiation safety, shielding, and protection for patients and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiologic diagnostic procedures ensuring accurate and complete examinations.
• Maintains image quality with proper views, filters, and patient identification.
• Practices radiation protection and shielding whenever possible.
• Troubleshoots equipment and acts as a resource for the department.
• Maintains clean work area and stocks supplies in assigned room.
