Job summary

Atrium Health Radiology department is seeking a Radiologic Technologist (X-ray) to perform radiographic exams under supervision and coordinate daily activities. Must be ARRT-eligible and graduate from an ARRT-recognized program, with BLS.

This full-time role offers a compressed schedule and a sign-on bonus for eligible candidates. Responsibilities include imaging under radiologist direction, clerical coordination, patient safety, and accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development and applies skills appropriate to patient needs.
• Must be registry eligible with registry completion within 1 year of hire date.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Performs radiographic examinations with minimal supervision under the radiologist.
• Coordinates daily activities including examinations and clerical duties.
• Maintains accurate patient and procedure records.
• Confirms patient identity prior to imaging and prepares contrast media as needed.
• Communicates findings with radiologists and other staff as required.
• Operates radiographic equipment with proper positioning and safety protocols.
