Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet is seeking a cardiovascular lab assistant to scrub and monitor physiologic data during diagnostic and therapeutic procedures under the cardiologist/radiologist. The role ensures the room is prepared and supplies are maintained, supporting both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Requirements include ARRT-R or RCIS license, CV lab experience preferred, BCLS, and ACLS within 30 days.

Qualificações

• Prior experience in a Cardiovascular Lab preferred.
• Cardiovascular technologist training with emphasis in invasive cardiology/hemodynamic monitoring preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and must be current.

• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required.

2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.

3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred.

4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.

5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.

6. Proficient computer skills.

Pay Transparency

Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet offers competitive compensation and a reasonable compensation estimate for this role is $65.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
