Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Cardiovascular Lab Technologist to scrub procedures and monitor physiologic data in the cardiovascular lab.

This role ensures the procedure room is prepared and all instruments and supplies are stocked for each case. You will participate in performance improvement activities and assist in invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures, with required ARRT-R or equivalent license, and ACLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R license or state license required.
• Cardiovascular technologist training program is preferred.
• BLS (AHA) certification required upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

Under the general direction of the physician (Cardiologist/Radiologist), will assist by scrubbing procedures or monitoring physiologic and hemodynamic data, as related to diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures performed in the cardiovascular lab. Ensures procedure room is adequately prepared for the procedure. Monitors par level of all instruments and supplies. Participates in departmental staff meetings and performance improvement activities and the training of new staff. Assists in all aspects of invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1. ARRT-R and license as required by State or Certified Cardiovascular Technologist (CCT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) required. 2. Previous experience in a Cardiovascular Lab; preferred.3. Cardiovascular technologist training program with emphasis in invasive cardiology and hemodynamic monitoring preferred. 4. BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.5. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.6. Proficient computer skills.

The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
