Saint Joseph Medical Center - Joliet in Joliet, IL is seeking a Cath Lab Tech (ARRT-R Required) to join our Cardiology team. You will assist in diagnostic and interventional procedures, scrub in for cases, and monitor real-time hemodynamics while ensuring sterile technique and patient safety.

The role requires ARRT-R and state licensure, BCLS on hire with ACLS within 30 days, and proficient computer skills.

Qualifications

• ARRT-R and state license required; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
• Previous Interventional Radiology department experience preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• ACLS required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in life-saving cardiac procedures – work with physicians during diagnostic and interventional cases.
• Own the procedure room – scrub in, maintain sterile technique, ensure readiness for cases.
• Monitor real-time hemodynamic data and impact patient outcomes.
• Manage supplies, equipment, and room readiness at a high level.
• Support training, collaborate with peers, and participate in continuous improvement.
• Contribute to both invasive and noninvasive cardiac procedures.
• Deliver safe, high-quality care – uphold infection control and safety standards.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

• ARRT‑R and licensed as required by State; VI (Vascular Interventional Technologist) preferred.
• Previous experience in a Interventional Radiology department preferred.
• BCLS (AHA) required upon hire and maintain current.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS); required within 30 days of hire.
• Proficient computer skills.
