Highgate Senior Living in Prescott, AZ is seeking a Certified Caregiver to support residents in assisted living and memory care. You will assist with daily living activities, follow care plans, and provide compassionate, person-centered care to promote dignity and independence.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old.
• Arizona Certified Caregiver (CCG) certification is required.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification, or ability to obtain.
• Current negative TB test.
• Ability to pass required background screening.
• Must meet Arizona and local licensing requirements for the position.
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the day; lift or carry up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transfers, eating).
• Follow resident service plans, task sheets, preferences, and daily routines.
• Observe and report physical, emotional, and cognitive changes in resident condition.
• Provide companionship, cueing, purposeful engagement, and support with resident activities.
• Support dining, hydration, nutrition, and resident meal preferences.
• Follow infection control, safety, emergency, and resident-rights procedures.
• Complete required documentation and promptly communicate concerns to leadership.
• Support residents living with dementia using person-centered approaches and familiar routines.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Support residents in assisted living and memory care with hands-on care rooted in dignity, choice, and meaningful daily routines. As a Certified Caregiver, you’ll help residents with personal care, dining, engagement, safety, and day-to-day support while watching closely for changes in condition.

WHAT YOU’LL DO
