Job summary

Solterra Senior Living at Chandler is seeking Certified Caregivers to support residents in Assisted Living and Memory Care with daily living activities, promoting dignity and quality of life. The role is full-time with three 8‑hour shifts (6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, 10:00 pm–6:00 am) and requires compassionate care and teamwork.

Responsibilities include vital signs, daily living assistance, dementia care, medication reminders, and adherence to care plans.

Qualifications

• Must obtain caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA approved course within 90 days.
• Prior experience in senior living or related field preferred.
• HD diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Takes and records vital signs and tracks fluid intake/output.
• Assists with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility.
• Provides medication reminders and supports residents with dementia.
• Contributes to assessments and plans of care; follows supervisor schedules.
• Provides emotional and social support and protects resident rights.

Solterra Senior Living at Chandler is currently seeking Certified Caregivers to assist to residents in the Assisted Living Program and Memory Care with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

Now hiring for the following schedule

Full time

• 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsibilities

• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
• Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Provides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfers, positions and turns residents.
• Provides skin care.
• Contributes to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care.
• Provides nursing rehabilitation /restorative nursing services.
• Cares for residents with dementia.
• Follows the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Promotes and protects resident rights, assists residents to make informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects resident’s personal belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids the need for physical restraints in accordance with the current professional standards and supports independent expression, choice and decision-making consistent with applicable law and regulation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Must have a caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board approved caregiver training course or willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a related field highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Senior Living Community preferred.
• A High School diploma or GED.
