Job summary

Tarantino Properties, Inc. is seeking Certified Caregivers and Med Techs to care for residents at The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living Community.

Positions include full-time and PRN with shifts from 6:00 am–2:00 pm, 2:00 pm–10:00 pm, and 10:00 pm–6:00 am under the supervision of the Assisted Living Director. Responsibilities include vital signs, daily living support, memory care, and participation in assessments and care planning.

Qualifications

• Must have current Certification as Medication Aide in Arizona.
• Senior Living experience is a plus.
• High School diploma or equivalent with related training/experience.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs.
• Measure and record height/weight; monitor intake/output.
• Report abnormal changes to supervisor.
• Assist with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, and daily living activities.
• Transfer, position, and turn residents; provide skin care.
• Contribute to assessments and care plans; provide restorative nursing.
• Care for residents with dementia.
• Respect resident rights and support independence as allowed by law.

The Mission at Agua Fria Senior Living Community is currently seeking Certified Caregivers & Med Techs to care for the residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director.

Full Time & PRN Caregivers & Med Techs - Now hiring for the following schedule:

• 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
• Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Provides assistance as needed with medication reminders, bathing, grooming, dressing, escort service, and other activities of daily living.
• Transfers, positions and turns residents.
• Provides skin care.
• Contributes to the resident’s assessment and the plan of care.
• Provides nursing rehabilitation /restorative nursing services.
• Cares for residents with dementia.
• Follows the schedule of resident’s needs set out by supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Promotes and protects resident rights, assists residents to make informed decisions, treats residents with dignity and respect, protects resident’s personal belongings, reports suspected abuse or neglect, avoids the need for physical restraints in accordance with the current professional standards and supports independent expression, choice and decision-making consistent with applicable law and regulation.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Requires to be a Certified Medication Aide in the State of Arizona.
• Previous experience in a Senior Living Comm a PLUS!!
• A High School diploma or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
