Job summary

BridgeWater Assisted Living is seeking Certified Med Techs to assist residents in daily living activities and memory care, upholding dignity and quality of life.

Applicants must hold an AZ NCIA approved caregiver certification or be willing to obtain within 90 days. Experience in senior living is preferred; HS diploma or GED is required.

Qualifications

• Must have caregiver certification from an Arizona NCIA approved course or willing to obtain within 90 days.
• Previous experience in senior living preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Take and record vital signs and monitor fluid intake/output.
• Assist with activities of daily living, bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, mobility.
• Provide medication reminders and support medication management per policy.
• Assist transfers, repositioning, and ambulation for residents.
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care programs as directed.
• Contribute to resident assessments and individualized care plans.
• Provide compassionate dementia care and ensure dignity and privacy.
• Maintain documentation and report safety concerns to supervision.

BridgeWater Assisted Living is currently seeking Certified Med Techs to assist to residents in the Assisted Living Program and Memory Care with their activities of daily living, enabling them to lead a quality life while maintaining their dignity.

*** Must have a caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board. ***

Now hiring for the following shifts:

• 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM
• 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
• 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Responsibilities:

• Take and record vital signs, including height, weight, and fluid intake/output
• Observe residents for any changes in condition and promptly report concerns to the supervisor
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility
• Provide medication reminders and support with medication management in accordance with community policies
• Safely transfer, reposition, and assist residents with ambulation as needed
• Deliver basic skin care and support overall resident comfort and well-being
• Support restorative and rehabilitative care programs as directed
• Assist with and contribute to resident assessments and individualized care plans
• Provide compassionate care for residents with dementia and other cognitive impairments
• Follow individualized care schedules and service plans established by supervisors
• Offer emotional support and encourage social engagement to enhance residents’ quality of life
• Promote and protect resident rights, ensuring dignity, respect, privacy, and independence at all times
• Monitor for and report any signs of abuse, neglect, or safety concerns
• Maintain accurate documentation and records in compliance with community standards
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must have a caregiver certification through an Arizona NCIA board approved caregiver training course or willing to obtain one within 90 days of hire.
• Previous experience in a related field highly preferred.
• Previous experience in Senior Living Community preferred.
• A High School diploma or GED.
