Empower Behavior Solutions in Puyallup, WA seeks a Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and schools. The position is part-time, approx 20 hours per week, with competitive pay of $25.00–$28.00 per hour and opportunities for additional hours.

You will implement treatment plans under BCBA supervision, collect data in a timely manner, and maintain professional communication with families and school staff.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is REQUIRED.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data is preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

We provide high-quality ABA services designed to help children build meaningful skills, increase independence, and reach their full potential.

This position provides 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and school settings. We do not provide clinic-based services.

We're currently seeking aCertified Behavior Technician to provide services in Puyallup to a 13 year-old client.

Schedule: Approximately 20 hours per week. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

Setting: Home and/or school-based

Preferred Candidate: Female CBT

Pay: $25.00–$28.00/hour

Interested in additional or future virtual hours? As our virtual program continues to develop, CBTs who establish themselves successfully with in-person services may have opportunities to take onhybrid or virtual cases as they become available.

What You’ll Do

• Provide one‑on‑one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs
• Deliver services in the client's home and/or school
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

What You’ll Need

Required

• Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification — REQUIRED
• Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will not be contacted or considered
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data
• Reliable transportation to the client's location
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed
• Willingness to provide in‑person services

Preferred

• Previous ABA therapy experience
• Two or more years of experience working with children
• Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities
