Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions in Lakewood, WA is hiring Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) to provide 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and schools. You’ll help children build meaningful skills, gain independence, and reach their full potential through high-quality ABA services.

This role offers flexible scheduling based on client availability, with potential for hybrid or virtual cases as programs grow. You will receive ongoing supervision from experienced BCBAs and support in data collection,

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is REQUIRED.
• Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will not be contacted or considered.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and schools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed.
• Willingness to provide in-person services.
• Preferred: Previous ABA therapy experience.
• Two or more years of experience working with children.
• Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs
• Deliver services in clients' homes and school settings
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment
• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

We're actively growing our team in the greater Lakewood areaand are hiring CBTs for current and upcoming home and school-based cases.

Location: Lakewood , Washington

Setting:Home and/or school-based

Schedule:Flexible, based on client availability and your availability. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

Pay:$25.00–$28.00/hour

Interested in eventually providing virtual services?As our virtual program continues to develop, CBTs who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and clinical readiness may have opportunities to take onhybrid or virtual casesas they become available.
