Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions seeks compassionate Certified Behavior Technicians to deliver one-on-one ABA therapy starting in-home or school-based settings in Washington state. Roles open to transitions into hybrid or virtual services as the program expands.

Compensation includes in-person pay of $25.00-28.00/hour and virtual pay of $23.00-25.00/hour, with flexible scheduling and strong supervision from experienced BCBAs.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is REQUIRED.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous ABA therapy experience preferred.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting data.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under BCBA supervision.
• Begin with in-home and/or school-based services.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior programs.
• Collect session data and document in Rethink within 24 hours.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff and clinicians.
• Build positive relationships with clients and families.
• As opportunities grow, potentially provide hybrid or virtual ABA services.
• Follow all company policies and maintain confidentiality.

We are looking for CBTs who are willing to begin with an in-person home or school-based client in their area.

As our virtual program continues to roll out, CBTs who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and clinical readiness may have opportunities to transition into hybrid or virtual services as those cases become available.

Virtual services are not guaranteed at the time of hire and are not necessarily the initial assignment.

• In-Person Pay: $25.00-28.00/hour
• Virtual Pay: $23.00-25.00/hour
• Schedule: Flexible, based on client availability. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align

What You’ll Do

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA
• Begin with in-home or school-based services
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians
• Build positive, supportive relationships with clients and families
• As virtual opportunities become available, potentially provide hybrid or virtual ABA services
• Follow all company policies while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality

Required

• Active Washington State Certified Behavior Technician (CBT) certification - REQUIRED
• Applicants without an active WA State CBT certification will NOT be contacted or considered
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Previous ABA therapy experience
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data
• Reliable transportation for in-person services
• Strong communication, organizational, and technology skills
• Willingness to begin with in-person services
• Professionalism, reliability, and a commitment to client care

Preferred

• Previous telehealth ABA experience
• Previous in-home or school-based ABA experience
• Two or more years of experience working with children
• Interest in hybrid or virtual ABA services
