Job summary

Empower Behavior Solutions is seeking compassionate Certified Behavior Technicians (CBTs) for home and school-based ABA services in the Puyallup area. You will work 1:1 with children, delivering ABA therapy under BCBA supervision and using individualized treatment plans.

Flexible schedule with in-person, hybrid, and potential virtual opportunities as the program grows. This role emphasizes reliability, professional communication, and a genuine commitment to helping children reach their potential.

Qualifications

• Active Washington State CBT certification is required.
• Applicants without an active WA CBT certification will not be contacted.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience implementing ABA programs and collecting behavioral data.
• Reliable transportation to travel to client homes and schools.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Willingness to provide in-person services.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one ABA therapy under the supervision of a BCBA.
• Implement individualized treatment plans and behavior intervention programs.
• Deliver services in clients' homes and school settings.
• Collect accurate session data and complete documentation in Rethink within 24 hours of each session.
• Communicate professionally with families, school staff, and supervising clinicians.
• Foster a positive, engaging, and supportive learning environment.
• Follow all company policies while maintaining confidentiality.

This position provides 1:1 ABA therapy in clients' homes and school settings. We do not provide clinic-based services.

We're actively growing our team in the Puyallup area and are hiring CBTs for current and upcoming home and school-based cases.

• Location: Puyallup, Washington


• Setting: Home and/or school-based


• Schedule: Flexible, based on client availability and your availability. Additional hours may be available by combining multiple client cases when schedules and locations align


• Pay: $25.00-$28.00/hour

Interested in eventually providing virtual services? As our virtual program continues to develop, CBTs who demonstrate strong performance, reliability, and clinical readiness may have opportunities to take on hybrid or virtual cases as they become available.

What You'll Need

Required

• Compassion, patience, and a commitment to helping children succeed


• Willingness to provide in-person services

Preferred

• Previous ABA therapy experience


• Two or more years of experience working with children


• Interest in future hybrid or virtual ABA opportunities
