Qualifications

• This role requires the ability to read safety rules and procedure manuals.
• Must qualify for licensing with the West Virginia Racing Commission.
• Must attend West Virginia Food Handler class and pass certification.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to HCCTR and Food and Beverage policies.
• Prepare soups, salads, gravies, desserts, sauces, and casseroles.
• Bake, roast, broil, and steam meats, fish, vegetables, and other foods.
• Season foods during mixing or cooking.
• Carve meats and portion food on serving plates with gravies and garnishes.
• Wash, peel, cut, and cut vegetables and fruits for use.
• Butcher poultry, fish, and shellfish.
• Ensure kitchen is clean and organized on closing.
• Perform any tasks assigned by lead cook or Restaurant Manager.
