Job summary

AutoNation is seeking a Certified Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance following dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates, diagnose issues, and document all work on the repair order.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years of automotive technician experience.
• Automotive technical training or certification.
• Valid in-state driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair/maintenance per repair order, to dealership and factory standards.
• Communicate with Parts Dept. and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by the customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety/reliability fixes.
• Document work performed on each vehicle in the repair order.
• Maintain tools inventory not normally inventoried by service.
• Stay current with factory bulletins and training.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
