Job summary

AutoNation is seeking an Advanced Technician to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. You will communicate with the Parts Department and Service Advisors to manage production and customer updates, diagnose issues, and perform authorized repairs to ensure safety and reliability.

You'll conduct multi-point inspections, document work on repair orders, and keep tools in good standing while staying current with factory bulletins.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are required.
• Must have a valid in-state driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 2+ years of experience as an automotive technician.
• Automotive technical training or certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle repair and/or maintenance per repair order and standards.
• Communicate with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized by customer.
• Conduct multi-point inspections and recommend safety improvements.
• Document work performed on each vehicle on the repair order.
• Maintain inventory of special tools and stay updated with factory bulletins.
• Provide an exceptional customer experience to drive loyalty.
