Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Certified Service Technician to join our team at the highest paying dealership in the state. You will perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards, with on-the-job training and a tiered pay plan based on hours and certifications.

The position welcomes Technicians, Trainees and Apprentices to grow their skills, including opportunities for longevity bonuses, monthly hours turned contests, and an extensive benefits

Qualifications

• Read and interpret repair orders accurately.
• Meet production and quality standards.
• Excellent communication skills.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• State certification(s) required.
• Brand knowledge of Mazda/Hyundai/Volkswagen recommended.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and assign to stall area.
• Perform repairs and maintenance per dealership and factory standards.
• Diagnose causes of malfunctions and perform repairs.
• Coordinate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Document work performed and maintain neat records.
• Road-test vehicles to verify repairs address customer concerns.
