Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Service Technician in Michigan to perform vehicle repair and maintenance per dealer and factory standards. The role welcomes Technicians, Trainees and Apprentices to join the highest paying dealership in the state, with a tiered pay plan and ongoing training.

You will diagnose, repair, and test drive vehicles, communicate with parts, document work, and uphold safety and quality standards while supporting customers and the service team.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
Michigan Mechanic Certification required.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to read instructions and perform repairs.

Responsibilities

Receive repair orders and perform tasks according to dealership and factory standards.
Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs as authorized.
Communicate parts needs to the Parts Department.
Document work performed and road-test vehicles.
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulations.
