Job summary

LaFontaine Automotive Group in Michigan is seeking an Automotive Service Technician who can perform vehicle repair and maintenance to dealer and factory standards. The role welcomes Technicians, Trainees and Apprentices to join the Highest Paying Dealership in the State and take part in a Tiered Pay Plan and Longevity Bonus.

Responsibilities include receiving repair orders, diagnosing faults, communicating with Parts, road-testing and documenting work while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Michigan Mechanic Certification.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory MVR.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders from dispatcher and take to stall area.
• Perform work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose cause of malfunction and perform repair as authorized.
• Communicate with Parts Department to obtain needed parts.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure repair addressed the customer complaint.
• Document work performed.
• Attend training classes.
• Keep abreast of factory technical bulletins.
• Ensure customers’ vehicles are kept clean.
