LaFontaine Automotive Group is seeking an Automotive Certified Service Technician to perform vehicle repairs and maintenance in accordance with dealer and factory standards, with opportunities for training and advancement.

• Michigan Mechanic Certification / ASE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Receive repair orders and work as outlined with efficiency and accuracy.
• Diagnose malfunctions and perform authorized repairs.
• Communicate with Parts Department for needed parts.
• Tag and save parts, especially for warranty work.
• Advise service advisor if additional work is needed or not required.
• Document work performed and road-test vehicles after repairs.
• Attend training classes and stay current on factory bulletins.
• Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean and safe.
