Job summary

Team Rehab is seeking a qualified Athletic Trainer to deliver on-site training services and rehabilitative programs for student-athletes at a large high school. You will diagnose injuries, provide first aid, and collaborate with coaches, parents, and school personnel to optimize outcomes.

The role emphasizes program development to prevent injuries, active engagement in research-supported care, and ongoing professional growth through company education opportunities and allowances.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in athletic training or related field.
  • Graduate from a CAATE-accredited athletic training program.
  • Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification.
  • Licensed as an athletic trainer.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Serve as an athletic trainer in an outreach position in a large high school.
  • Maintain and strengthen Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, games, and scrimmages.
  • Provide excellent health care for patients and ensure good outcomes and satisfaction with therapy.
  • Help develop protocols for common diagnoses.
  • Participate in research studies supported by the clinic.
  • Experience or interest in work conditioning.
  • Continue to develop skills via company continuing education events and allowances.

Team Rehab is a network of therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin and Georgia.

  • Helping to develop protocols for the most common diagnoses we see
  • Participating the research studies supported by the clinic
  • Experienced or interested in work conditioning
  • Responsible for continuing to develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program
  • Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer
  • Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with the athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel
