Job summary

A therapist-owned network of clinics is seeking an experienced Athletic Trainer to provide injury evaluation and rehabilitation services. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Athletic Training and a certification from the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers. Responsibilities include developing rehabilitation programs, providing first aid at sporting events, and maintaining relationships with athletes and coaches. $45,000 - $60,000 per year

Responsibilities
  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Serve as an Athletic trainer in an outreach position in a large high school.
  • Responsible for maintaining and strengthening Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages.
  • Provide excellent health care for patients; patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their PT experience.
  • Help develop protocols for common diagnoses; participate in research studies supported by the clinic.
  • Experienced or interested in work conditioning.
  • Continue to develop skills by attending company continuing education events and using CE allowance to attend approved courses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Athletic Training or related field
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program
  • Athletic Training Certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer
  • Strong communication skills to manage triage and relationships with athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel
