Job summary

Team Rehabilitation Physical Therapy is seeking an Athletic Trainer to evaluate injuries, provide care, and develop rehab programs for athletes. You will also prevent injuries through comprehensive conditioning and collaborate with schools and teams to deliver on-site coverage.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program completed.
  • Athletic Training Certification from Board of Certification.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, games, and scrimmages.

Responsibilities
  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.

  • Serve as an athletic trainer in an outreach position in a large high school.
  • Maintain and strengthen Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages.
  • Provide excellent health care for our patients; patients should achieve good outcomes and be happy with their experience of physical therapy.
  • Help develop protocols for the most common diagnoses we see.
  • Participate in the research studies supported by the clinic.
  • Be experienced or interested in work conditioning.
  • Continuously develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program.
  • Athletic Training certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with the athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel.
