Job summary

Team Rehab is a therapist-owned network of outpatient clinics across Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia, proudly serving student athletes and the community since 2001.

We offer paid mentorship with weekly one-on-one sessions during the first three months, $1,500 yearly CEU or student-loan repayment, and 40 hours of paid CEU time plus access to 50+ in-house CEU courses. Residency options are available with full coverage by Team Rehab.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or related field.
  • CAATE-accredited Athletic Training program.
  • Board of Certification (BOC) Athletic Trainer certification.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer where required.
  • Strong communication to triage athletes and communicate with stakeholders.
  • Commitment to Team Rehab DEI initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Recognize and evaluate injuries.
  • Provide first aid or emergency care.
  • Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes.
  • Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes.
  • Serve as an athletic trainer in an outreach position in a large high school.
  • Maintain and strengthen Team Rehabilitation affiliation relationships.
  • Provide onsite athletic training services at practices, assigned games, and scrimmages.
  • Be experienced or interested in work conditioning.
  • Continuously develop their own skills by attending company continuing education events and using the continuing education allowance to attend approved courses.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training or a related field.
  • Graduate from a CAATE accredited Athletic Training program.
  • Athletic Training certification by the Board of Certification for Athletic Trainers.
  • Licensed as an Athletic Trainer.
  • Strong communication skills to manage the triage of athletes for further care and in developing relationships with the athletes, parents, coaches and school personnel.
