Job summary

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to support our National Basketball Association referee care program during the 2026/2027 season in Washington, DC. This Per Diem/PRN position offers on-site treatment at Capital One Arena with variable hours.

Responsibilities include on-site care before, during, and after games, wound care, taping, hydration, documentation in the EMR, and collaboration with NBA staff and our team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree required.
• NATA-BOC Board Certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.
• 3 years of ATC experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide on-site athletic training care for NBA referees during games and during travel as needed.
• Document care and treatment in the EMR system.
• Coordinate with NBA staff and Select support teams for care delivery.

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our professional athletes! This position will support our service agreement with the National Basketball Association for referee care during the 2026/2027 season in Washington, DC.

Schedule:

Hours vary as needed

Compensation:

$55/hour - 3 hours per coverage date

• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of the specified plan of care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
• 3 Years of ATC experience

• Master’s degree
