Job summary

Select Physical Therapy seeks a Certified Athletic Trainer to support NBA referee care for the 2026/2027 season in Portland, OR. Per diem/PRN hours vary and coverage occurs at the NBA Portland Moda Center.

Responsibilities include on-site care, injury prevention, documentation in EMR, and collaboration with NBA staff and Select teammates. Requires B.S. in AT, NATA-BOC, CPR, and active state licensure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training is required.
• NATA-BOC certification is required.
• CPR certification is required.
• Active state license where required for practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide athletic training care for NBA referees during events and travel.
• On-site coverage at Portland Moda Center for NBA activities.
• Document care and treatment in the EMR system.
• Coordinate care with referees, NBA staff, and Select team personnel.

Select Physical Therapy is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our professional athletes! This position will support our service agreement with the National Basketball Association for referee care during the 2026/2027 season in Portland, OR.

$55/hour - 3 hours per coverage date

• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of the specified plan of care.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
• 3 Years of ATC experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Master’s degree
