Job summary

NovaCare Rehabilitation in the Greater Philadelphia Area is seeking a Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) for PRN work with schools and professional teams. You will coordinate access to healthcare for athletes and work with a team of athletic trainers, sports PTs and physicians.

Positions offer flexible hours across high school, college, and outreach settings. Starting at $40/hr, commensurate with experience, with opportunities to grow and engage in a nationwide professional network.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training required.
• NATA-BOC certification required.
• CPR certification required.
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement therapeutic programs for injured athletes’ rehabilitation.
• Determine the need for and administer athletic training techniques before and during games/practices to reduce injury risk.
• Assess effectiveness of training/rehabilitation techniques and document athlete responses.
• Manage emergency incidents and coordinate EMS and acute care procedures.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in community events to promote the company.

NovaCare Rehabilitation is seeking a passionate Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC) to provide care for our athletes! In this role, you will service contracted schools and/or professional teams and coordinate access to additional health care for their athletes. This position will be supporting our partners in/around the Philadelphia market. This is a PRN/PerDiem position that offers flexibility and opens opportunities to work in the high school, college/university and outreach settings. We offer qualified candidates the opportunity to develop your skills while working with other Athletic Trainers, Sports Physical Therapists and Sports Medicine Physicians.

• Determine the effectiveness of athletic training/rehabilitative techniques and record change as indicated by athlete response within limits of specified plan of care
• Manage emergency incidents, coordinate EMS and acute care procedures including basic life support to reduce the impact on function of an injured athlete.
• Seek outreach opportunities and participate in events to promote the company (races, club teams, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree
• National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA-BOC) Board of Certification
• CPR certification
• Applicable state license where required
