Job summary

Twin Brothers Marine, LLC is seeking an experienced welder to join the Production/Welding team. The role involves welding metal components for marine products using electric arc welding, following layouts, blueprints, and procedures.

The candidate should be able to position and weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions and inspect weld quality. Requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid welder certification.

Qualifications

• Must be a certified welder with a written certification from an employer or certifying agent.
• Skill in several welding processes (FCAW; GTAW; GMAW) will be required to pass company administered 6GR qualification test.

Responsibilities

• Welds together metal components of products such as pipelines according to layouts and blueprints using electric arc-welding equipment.
• Connects cables to obtain amperage, voltage, slope and pulse as specified by the Welding Inspector.
• Strikes arc, melts and deposits metal to join workpieces and maintains proper bead fusion.
• Welds in various positions and inspects bead size and weld quality.
• May clean or degrease weld joints, repair broken parts, and prepare surfaces for welding.
