Job summary

SE&M Constructors, LLC is seeking a skilled pipe welder to install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial settings. You will read blueprints, follow weld procedures, and work with carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.

Strong attention to safety, quality, and teamwork is essential. Required is a high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass a 6G welding test.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass 6G welding test.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong mathematical skills for measurements and calculations.

Responsibilities

• Install, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems in industrial settings.
• Follow weld procedures and ensure proper amperage, voltage, and gas flow for various materials.
• Fabricate pipe spools and components using welding and fitting techniques.
• Interpret blueprints and schematics to plan layouts and ensure compliance with standards.
• Test piping systems for leaks using hydrostatic or air pressure tests.
• Lead and instruct helpers, mechanics, and fitters; conduct regular inspections for safety and efficiency.
• Work with materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, and aluminum.
