Shift

Full Time (40 hours)

Monday – Thursday 7:45-5:15, Friday 7:45-4:15.

Education

Minimum of a high school diploma or possession of GED is required.

Required Work Experience

Minimum of one (1) year experience in a clinical setting or physician office. ENT and/or Allergy experience preferred.

Licensure/Certification

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant Training Program

Current training and certification in basic life support (BLS) required.

Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

• Experience with computerized EMR (electronic medical records) systems highly desirable; familiarity with use of computers required.
• Ability to perform routine job duties with minimal supervision and direction.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate with staff, physicians, patients, families and outside agencies in such a manner as to gain their confidence and secure their cooperation and respect.
• High level of patience, tolerance, and tact in order to deal effectively with people and time pressures.
• Professional demeanor, attitude and appearance.
• Initiative and assertiveness in dealing with problems.

Salary Range: Minimum 19.50/hour - Maximum 24.00/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
