Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Technician II to contribute to the creation and analysis of high quality ceramic products. The role works under limited supervision and involves data analysis, reporting, and cross‑functional collaboration with internal customers.

Responsibilities include generating technical reports, maintaining data records, and applying ceramic science principles. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent with experience, or a bachelor’s degree with related experience;

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent plus 3 years related work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree with 1 year of related work experience.
• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and troubleshooting preferred.
• Intermediate math and writing skills; basic statistics knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Works under limited supervision following approved work instructions in the creation and/or analysis of high quality ceramic products.
• Assists in analyzing data, systems, processes, product or equipment, reporting results to customers or leadership as required.
• Creates technical reports and identifies solutions; works independently on assigned projects.
• Maintains records of technical data using appropriate software.
• Interacts with internal customers and reviews findings of ceramics or related materials.
• Keeps to safety and quality standards and wears PPE as required.
