Job summary

CoorsTek is seeking a Technician II in the United States to analyze and control materials and processes in the development/pilot production of high quality ceramics. You will prepare samples, test and analyze ceramic or related materials, and report results to leadership.

Follow approved work instructions and maintain records with standard software, while upholding safety and quality standards. You will interact with internal customers, review findings, and contribute solutions.

Qualifications

• Education: HS diploma or equivalent plus 3 years related work, or Bachelor's with 1 year related work.
• Experience in a laboratory environment preferred.
• Basic math, writing and statistics knowledge; able to generate basic technical reports.

Responsibilities

• Works under limited supervision following approved instructions for ceramic analysis and production.
• Analyses data, systems and processes; reports results to customers or leadership as required.
• Works independently on projects; creates technical reports and suggests solutions.
• Gathers data using software to maintain records of technical data.
• Interacts with internal customers and reviews findings of ceramic analyses.
• Exhibits troubleshooting skills; performs maintenance and ensures safety standards.
• Cross-trained on equipment and processes; adheres to customer specs and quality standards.
