Job summary

Consolidated Precision Products Eastlake is seeking a Ceramic Shell Process Engineer to provide engineering and manufacturing support for the shell department in an investment casting facility.

You will collaborate with operations and engineering teams to drive continuous improvements, reduce process variation, and enhance efficiency, throughput, safety, quality, and cost performance across the department.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience in a highly regulated manufacturing environment, with a preference to investment casting industry experience.
• Lean manufacturing knowledge and problem-solving abilities (root cause analysis).
• Ability to lead projects and work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Interact with Manufacturing Managers to implement changes to processes, fixtures/tools, and reduce rework for efficient production.
• Develop and sustain improvements to all implemented ideas and ensure adherence to new methods.
• Own clean and cap department incoming materials and related procedures.
• Establish SPC control charts for key variables and lead root-cause investigations of defects.
• Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives and maintain safety standards.
