Job summary

PCC Structurals is seeking a dedicated Shell Mold Operator to support the manufacturing of ceramic shells. You will perform grinding, dewaxing, inspection, insulation and assembly tasks, ensuring shell integrity and on-time delivery.

The role emphasizes careful handling of materials, adherence to safety rules, and precise record-keeping across multiple process steps. The job requires physical work, ability to read technical instructions, and teamwork in a high-precision environment within PCC

Qualifications

• Experience in the investing area preferred.
• Equivalent combination of classroom training and work experience.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to read, follow and interpret specification on Technique Cards, routers, and other special instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Physical ability to perform the essential job functions.

Responsibilities

• Shell Grinding: prepare molds for dewaxing, plasticizing, and casting operations.
• Dewax/Deplasticize: remove wax and prepare loads for autoclave and drying.
• Inspection: check shells for cracks and defects and carry out repairs.
• Insulation - Final Preparation: attach insulating material and verify lot integrity.
• Housekeeping and Safety: maintain clean work area and follow safety rules.
