Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC is seeking a Machine Operator 1 for the Weekend Day Shift (Friday/Saturday/Sunday, 6:00 a.m.–6:30 p.m.). You will operate a range of production machines on the blades/vanes line and perform routine quality checks to maintain high manufacturing standards.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and prior manufacturing experience or related Advanced Manufacturing Certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under this program/contract.
• Previous Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines and train to become proficient in multiple work groups.
• Perform daily standard work and complete complex operations following instructions.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform TPM; document results.
• Keep equipment and work area clean (5S) and support department objectives.
