Job summary

RTX is seeking a Machine Operator for the Weekend Day Shift (Friday–Sunday, 6 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.) at the Pratt & Whitney site in Asheville, NC. This on-site role involves operating production machines, performing quality checks, and supporting TPM and 5S standards on the manufacturing line.

Qualified candidates will have a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and may possess Advanced Manufacturing Certification or related manufacturing experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• U.S. citizenship is required for access to information under this program/contract.
• Previous manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of production machines and train to become proficient and certified in multiple equipment groups.
• Perform daily standard work and handle complex operations while following standard work and instructions.
• Clock labor in Solumina, perform TPM, and document results.
• Maintain clean and organized work area (5S) and support department objectives.
