Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in Asheville, NC is seeking a Manufacturing Technician to operate a variety of production machines on the blade and vane line. You will perform standard work, read process sheets, document results and participate in TPM along with daily maintenance. The role requires shift work and overtime as needed.

Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, U.S. citizenship, and manufacturing experience or related certification.

• U.S. citizenship required for access to program information.
• Manufacturing experience or education or Advanced Manufacturing Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machines on the blade/vanes line and perform quality checks.
• Read and interpret process sheets, make minor offset changes, and document results.
• Clock labor in Solumina and perform TPM and routine maintenance tasks.
• Maintain 5S cleanliness and support safety and quality procedures.
• Move along the production line to operate equipment and assist with various tasks as needed.
