Job summary

T&B Planning, Inc. is seeking a senior CEQA professional to lead document preparation for projects in northern Los Angeles and Kern County. You will oversee complex EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings, ensuring accuracy and procedural compliance.

The role includes mentoring technical staff, managing scopes of work and schedules, supporting clients and agencies, and representing the firm at public meetings and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of CEQA document preparation experience across EIRs, MNDs, Addenda and Exemption Findings.
• Experience managing project teams and client relationships.
• Strong project management skills, results-driven with ability to meet multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook and Excel.
• Effective and polished communicator with strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA document preparation and ensure procedural and technical accuracy for northern LA and Kern County projects.
• Prepare EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Direct and mentor technical staff and environmental analysts.
• Support private clients and government agencies with CEQA procedural guidance.
• Manage scopes of work and schedules across a portfolio of LA and Kern County projects.
• Represent the firm at public meetings, hearings, and client presentations.
