Job summary

T&B Planning, Inc. seeks an experienced CEQA professional to lead document preparation and ensure technical accuracy for Orange County and San Diego County projects. You will prepare EIRs, MNDs, addenda, and exemption findings, while directing and mentoring technical staff and environmental analysts.

The role involves supporting entitlement teams, managing multiple project scopes and schedules, and occasionally representing the firm at public meetings and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of CEQA document preparation experience across EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings.
• Experience managing project teams and client relationships.
• Strong project management skills, results-driven, with ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• Effective and polished communicator.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Familiarity with Orange County and/or San Diego County jurisdictions and agencies preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA document preparation and ensure procedural and technical accuracy for Orange County and San Diego County projects.
• Prepare EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Direct and mentor technical staff and environmental analysts.
• Support entitlement and development services teams with CEQA procedural guidance.
• Manage scopes of work and schedules across a portfolio of OC and San Diego projects.
• Occasionally represent the firm at public meetings, hearings, and client presentations.
