Job summary

T&B Planning, Inc. is seeking an experienced CEQA professional to lead document preparation for Orange County and San Diego County projects. You will ensure procedural and technical accuracy across projects and mentor technical staff and analysts.

The role involves preparing EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings, supporting entitlement teams, and managing multiple deadlines while engaging with clients and agencies. Occasional representation at public meetings may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years CEQA document preparation experience across EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings.
• Experience managing project teams and client relationships.
• Strong project management skills, results-driven, with ability to manage multiple deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Lead CEQA document preparation and ensure procedural and technical accuracy for Orange County and San Diego County projects.
• Prepare EIRs, MNDs, Addenda, and Exemption Findings for projects of varying size and complexity.
• Direct and mentor technical staff and environmental analysts.
• Support entitlement and development services teams with CEQA procedural guidance.
• Manage scopes of work and schedules across a portfolio of OC and San Diego projects.
• Occasionally represent the firm at public meetings, hearings, and client presentations.
