Job summary
Verdantas LLC is seeking an experienced environmental planning professional in California to independently lead complex CEQA reviews and EIRs. You will guide multidisciplinary teams and act as a trusted advisor to public and private sector clients.
The role requires strong experience with environmental impact analyses, scoping, responses to comments, findings, and MMRPs, with an emphasis on defensible CEQA documents and client coordination.
Qualifications
- Must have a relevant degree and CEQA experience with full EIRs.
- Strong writing, editing, and client-management capabilities.
- Proven leadership of multidisciplinary teams and public/agency coordination.
Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and management of CEQA documents and EIRs.
- Manage complex environmental planning projects including scope, budget and staffing.
- Direct multidisciplinary teams integrating diverse technical analyses.
- Develop review strategies, mitigation measures, and regulatory strategies.
- Lead agency consultations, stakeholder engagement and hearings.
- Support client development, proposals, and QA/QC reviews.
