Job summary

CSG Consultants, Inc. in Southern California seeks a CEQA Project Manager to lead environmental documentation and CEQA processes for a variety of development, infrastructure, and policy projects.

The ideal candidate will have strong project management skills, experience coordinating with agencies and teams, and a track record of delivering accurate CEQA reports on time and within budget. This full-time hybrid role offers growth through business development and regional projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in environmental sciences, geography, planning or related field (or in process).
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience with a government agency or firm in environmental analysis and reporting.
• Familiar with CEQA and active roles in coordination and management of the various levels of study.
• Understanding of CEQA guidelines and support on environmental reports, coordination with clients.
• Experience delivering high-quality reports on time and within budget.
• Proficiency in MS Office and related documentation tools; Adobe CC is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Project Manager on CEQA projects and proposals.
• Prepare environmental documentation for development, infrastructure, and policy projects.
• Lead in preparing exemptions, initial studies/MNDs, EIRs and related CEQA studies.
• Confirm CEQA requirements are met within specified guidelines.
• Maintain client satisfaction as primary CEQA contact.
• Create schedules, scopes, and budgets to drive project success.
• Coordinate sub-consultants and integrate research into documents.
• Contribute to proposals and business development efforts.
