Job summary

LSA is seeking a Senior Environmental Planner in Irvine with 5+ years of experience to prepare CEQA/NEPA documents for diverse projects. You will work independently under a Project Manager, coordinating with staff and clients to ensure high-quality environmental documentation and planning.

The role requires strong writing skills, experience leading meetings, and ability to manage multiple projects, budgets, and schedules.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience preparing CEQA/NEPA documents and regulatory knowledge
• Experience at a private environmental consulting firm is preferred
• Bachelor’s in urban planning/environmental studies or related field; advanced degree preferred
• Excellent writing, communication, and organizational skills; ability to manage multiple projects

Responsibilities

• Prepare environmental documents and analyses for CEQA/NEPA
• Lead client and regulatory agency meetings and coordinate reviews
• Scope projects, manage budgets and schedules, and oversee subconsultants
• Assist in proposals and business development activities
