Job summary

Coast is seeking an experienced Chief of Staff to act as the CEO's trusted operating partner, extending the CEO's reach across the company and ensuring high-impact decisions are executed with full context. You will drive the leadership cadence, run strategic initiatives end to end, and advise on growth and operations in a fast-growing fintech environment.

You will sit at the center of the business, shaping board materials, leading cross-functional efforts, and building structure in ambiguity

Qualifications

• 7–12 years of experience in roles combining analytics and operating experience in a high-growth company
• Track record earning trust of CEOs or C-level executives
• Executive presence and ability to influence senior leaders
• Discretion with confidential and sensitive matters
• Strong analytical instincts and data-driven decision making
• Excellent communication skills at all levels, from board to front lines
• Experience in fintech, payments, B2B SaaS, or financial services preferred
• New York City-based; able to be in-office 3–4 days per week

Responsibilities

• Act as the CEO's proxy in internal meetings, decisions, and escalations
• Own the leadership team's operating cadence and ensure decisions are executed
• Lead strategic special projects end to end and partner with executives on growth and operational improvements
• Support decision-making with research and data, preparing materials for executive reviews and board communications
