Lutheran Services in Iowa (LSI) seeks an experienced leader for President & CEO to advance mission and oversee health and human services in Iowa.

The CEO will provide servant leadership, strategic direction, and financial stewardship, working with the Board and management to ensure high-quality care and sustainable growth.

Candidates bring a master's degree, 10+ years of executive leadership in multi-site organizations, and a commitment to equity, diversity and inclusion.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a qualifying field; MSW preferred.
• Minimum 10 years of full-time, progressive management experience in multi-site human service organizations.
• Experience in fundraising, accreditation and regulatory oversight.
• Strong leadership style with servant leadership values.

Responsibilities

• Provide visionary leadership and establish organizational principles and values.
• Develop and monitor the annual strategic plan for LSI.
• Deliver organizational results meeting strategic objectives and benchmarks.
• Model ethical standards and promote mission-driven culture.
• Oversee contracts, compliance, and financial performance.
• Maintain active accreditation with a recognized accrediting body.
• Lead stakeholder relations and donor engagement.
• Collaborate with the board and management for governance and long-term objectives.
