Job summary

Blackbook Associates is seeking a high‑caliber Analyst for the Office of the CEO. The role blends investment‑focused analysis with executive‑level briefing, synthesis of cross‑firm information, and strategic storytelling for a senior leadership audience.

You will partner with the Chief of Staff to distill complex investment materials, prepare decision‑ready outputs, and track commitments across the leadership team in a high‑impact environment in New York.

Qualifications

• Direct exposure to alternative investments, across PE, private credit, hedge funds, real assets, or infra.
• Deep industry knowledge of the alternative asset management landscape.
• Demonstrable analytical rigor with complex materials.
• Executive-level briefing and analysis capabilities.
• Sound judgment, discretion, and handling sensitive information.
• Highly organized and able to manage multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Synthesize inbound information from investment teams, finance, IR, operations, and external counterparties into decision-ready outputs.
• Review and distill board packs, investment committee materials, and leadership submissions.
• Produce briefing notes, analytical summaries, and structured frameworks for decisions.
• Prioritize information flow into the CEO's office and focus on material matters.
• Conduct independent analysis on cross-firm initiatives spanning strategy and capital formation.
• Track decisions and follow-through across the leadership team.
• Serve as a trusted internal analytical resource to the Chief of Staff and Office of the CEO.
